    1. Introduction

    These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the medical weight loss services provided by Healthbase Limited, trading as "The Slimming Doctor" ("we", "us", "our"). By registering for or using our services, you agree to these Terms.

    2. Our Services

    We provide the following regulated medical services:

    • Remote (virtual) consultations with a GMC-registered doctor.
    • Prescription of weight loss medications.
    • Courier delivery of medications from licensed UK pharmacies.

    Our services are regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

    3. Eligibility Criteria

    To use our service, you must:

    • Be at least 18 years old.
    • Have a Body Mass Index (BMI) of:
      • 30 or above; or
      • 27 or above with an eligible medical condition (as determined by our clinicians) and/or from an ethnic minority.
    • Be resident in the United Kingdom.

    We do not provide treatment to individuals who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have certain medical contraindications. Our clinicians reserve the right to refuse treatment based on clinical judgment.

    4. Consultations and Clinical Assessment

    All consultations are conducted remotely by GMC-registered doctors. You are responsible for providing accurate, honest, and complete medical information during the consultation process. You must also provide details of your GP and notify us promptly if your health or medication history changes.

    5. Prescriptions and Medication Delivery

    • Prescriptions are issued following clinical approval and dispensed by our licensed pharmacy partners.
    • Medication is couriered directly to you within the UK only.
    • Deliveries are made Monday to Sunday, excluding bank holidays.
    • There are no delivery charges.
    • Once medication is dispensed, it cannot be returned or refunded, in accordance with UK health regulations.
    • If your medication is delivered damaged or faulty, you must contact us immediately so we can resolve it promptly.

    6. Cancellations and Rescheduling

    You may cancel or reschedule consultations at any time. We do not charge for appointments. However, failure to attend a scheduled consultation may delay treatment.

    7. Results and Treatment Outcomes

    You understand and agree that:

    • Weight loss results vary between individuals.
    • No outcome is guaranteed.
    • Medication should be used alongside a healthy diet and lifestyle.

    You agree to follow the medical advice provided and notify us of any adverse effects or changes in your condition.

    8. Data Protection and Confidentiality

    • We are committed to protecting your data in compliance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).
    • We use secure, GDPR-compliant third-party platforms for data storage and communication.
    • Your personal information may be shared with pharmacy partners solely for the purpose of dispensing and delivering your medication.
    • We do not share your information for marketing or non-clinical purposes.

    9. Limitation of Liability

    We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from the use of our services, unless due to our negligence or breach of duty. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount paid for any medication received.

    10. Complaints and Feedback

    11. Governing Law

    These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
